How to Delete Your Account

Understand what happens when you delete your DS-Mate account, the grace period, and how to cancel deletion if you change your mind.
1Initiating Account Deletion
Navigate to Settings and scroll to the danger zone at the bottom of the Account tab. Click 'Delete Account' to open the deletion confirmation dialog. You will have the option to provide feedback about why you are leaving (optional).
2Confirming Deletion
To proceed with deletion, you must enter your current password and type the word 'DELETE' in uppercase in the confirmation field. This multi-step verification prevents accidental account deletion. Click 'Delete Account' to confirm.
37-Day Grace Period
Account deletion is not immediate. Your account enters a 7-day grace period during which your data is preserved. If you change your mind, simply log back in during this period and your account will be automatically restored. No separate cancellation button is needed, since signing in is enough to cancel the deletion.
4What Gets Deleted
After the 7-day grace period, your account is permanently deleted. This includes your profile, all connected stores, subscription data, and associated records. Your active subscription is canceled and any remaining billing cycle is ended. This action cannot be undone after the grace period.
