How do I create a DS-Mate account?

Steps

1. 1Open the sign-up page. Use a sign-up button on ds-mate.com, or on the Sign in to your account page click Create account next to "New to DS Mate?".
2. 2On Create your account, fill in First name, Last name, Email address, Password and Confirm password.
3. 3Tick the box "I accept the terms of use and privacy policy".
4. 4Click Create account.
5. 5On Verify your email, type the 6-digit code from the email ("Enter the 6-digit code we sent to" your address). The form submits by itself when the sixth digit is in, or click Verify email. If the email has not arrived, click Resend code; the button then reads Code resent.
6. 6The message "Email verified. You can now sign in." appears and you are taken to Sign in to your account. Enter your Email address and Password, tick the terms box again, and click Sign in.
7. 7The first time you open the dashboard, DS-Mate shows the plan page. Choose Free, Starter or Growth to continue.
8. 8Next, connect your first store from Settings > Stores > Connect Store (see "How do I connect my Shopify store from the web dashboard?").

Good to know

• Password rules: at least 8 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. If the two passwords differ you see "Passwords do not match".
• A wrong or old code shows "Invalid or expired verification code." Use Resend code to get a new one.
• If you sign in before verifying your email, the dashboard sends you to verify it first. You cannot open the dashboard with an unverified email.
• There is no business profile step. Settings > Profile holds First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Country and Timezone.
• On the plan page, Starter and Growth show Start 14-day trial if you have never had a trial. The trial is once per account: after it, the button reads Subscribe. Free has no trial because it costs nothing.
• How many stores you can connect depends on the plan: Free 1, Starter 2, Growth 5. On Growth, billed from the web dashboard, you can add more stores for $5 a month each.
• Stores are connected from Settings > Stores. If your Settings show an Integrations group, it holds only API Keys, not stores.
